13-year-old boy in court admitted the rape of girls of the same age after they both attended the compulsory teaching of sex education in their schools in the county of Gwynedd in North Wales.

Education about sexuality and relationships is compulsory in the UK for all children in the age of 11 years onwards until the biological aspects of sexuality treated as part of the curriculum in biology.

The boy, now 15, admitted rape last week at a hearing in court for youth in Dolgellau.

On the court heard that the boy and girl after hours of sex education in class went to a secluded place where they talked about what they learned about sex.

The boy said he had asked the girl if he wants to "try out sex". Despite being a girl repeatedly said "I do not want," the student continued to abuse girls and raped her. In the end he allegedly told the girl: "You can go now."

The attack came to light only a year after the incident took place in 2012, thanks to waking school nurse who noticed that the young girl became absent and upset.

I asked her if something was troubling her and her teenager was then told about the rape that happened after school sex education.
