Black Slaves, Red Masters

Look a little known part of American history in a story that aired on WJLA-TV Washington in February 1990. American Indians owned slaves. What’s the moral of the story? People in power owned slaves , regardless of their race or the race of the enslaved. Too often slavery is made into a black vs. white issue. It should be a human rights issue.
